Ms. Methot graduated from St. Louis University School of Law in 2008. Upon graduating she practiced both immigration and bankruptcy law. She has since filed over 1,000 bankruptcy cases (chapters 7 and 13) and frequently works with clients to prepare and file fiancé(e) visas, applications for spouses of United States citizens to become legal permanent residents, and applications for removal of conditions. Chantal Methot currently practices the following areas of law: immigration, bankruptcy, landlord tenant, civil litigation, business, along with trust and estates – including helping clients terminate timeshares, and probate.
While completing her bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University, she lived for two years in France. While living in France, she grew a love for people who choose to immigrate to other countries.
She worked extensively with the Conflict Resolution Center to help resolve landlord tenant conflicts.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling with her husband and children. She has visited all 50 states and 21 countries. Chantal speaks French and is learning Spanish.
