Jerrold R. Burkhart Jr.

Mr. Burkhart was born and raised in southern California. He graduated with honors from Webster University in 2013, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in legal studies, and earned a Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University in 2016. Mr. Burkhart is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and is a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar Association.

While attending law school, Mr. Burkhart served as the Federal Student Bar Treasurer and was a member of the Christian Legal Society. He is a volunteer Attorney in the Saint Louis County Domestic Violence Court, where he dedicates a portion of his time assisting the court with families of children whose parents have engaged in acts of domestic violence and abuse. He is also a volunteer Attorney with The American Bar Association answering legal questions for low-income qualifying Missouri residents.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Burkhart is an Adjunct Professor at both Southwestern Illinois College and Lewis and Clark Community College, lecturing on tort law, wills, estates, and legal research and writing to paralegal students. Mr. Burkhart's students enjoy his sense of humor and actually call his classes "fun." They find his classes quite interesting because he integrates his real-life experiences into the subjects he teaches.

Jerrold enjoys relaxing on the waterfront and telling "dad jokes" to his wife and three children.
